name change on cruise

Iv'e got a question, from any one out there. My SIL is sharing a cabin with a friend, which we booked in march, gave our deposit SIL can"t go so i found some one else to replace her is ther going to be a problem.:confused: any advice thanks

Maybe $50, but has final payment been made yet? I may not cost you anything if final payment has not been made.

I have had to change names twice and the fee was $50, one with Carnival and one with Celebrity.

It won't be a problem but you MUST let them know. There will be a charge for the name change, probably $50, that's what Carnival charges.

The one who is not going should get a full refund so if they want a roommate I guess it will be the new person or the roommate!!:D

 

The other option is to cancel and re-book with new cabin mates providing the TA does not charge a fee.

Just talked to my TA and she said no problem, no one will have to pay. :p it was done before final payment.
