Red Onion Saloon

Has anyone been here before and is it worth making it part of our day? I have read that it is a cute place to stop and was just wondering

what the feeling is of people that have been here.

Yep, many times. icon_smile.gif One time my son starting jamming with some people. icon_smile.gif It's always a stop for me while doing my laundry. You don't have to stay long, even a look inside is worthwhile. You will likely be walking by it several times. They offer a brothel tour sometimes if that is of interest??

Good pizza. Don't forget to "tip" the madam to have your photo taken with her at the piano and/or at your table...highlight of the trip for DH. (My highlight was the pizza and beer!) It was a fun place to spend some time.

The Red Dog Saloon is in Juneau and the Red Onion Saloon is in Skagway. Stopped briefly in the Red Dog, but absolutly loved the Red Onion Saloon. Have some wonderful pictures from inside and the staff is dressed in "Gold Rush" style clothing. Its just a great stop....even just to pop in and say hello!!!

Thank you for clearing that up as in my mind I thought it was the Red Dog but than saw it listed as Red Onion and figured I had just misread the name. So you feel the one in Skagway is much better. We may be pressed for

time in Jueanu as we want to go to Mendenhall and the Shirne of St Theresa.
