Seward to Talkeetna in 8-10 hours?

Before I book the Mt. McKinley summit flight, can anyone confirm that it is feasible to drive from Seward to Talkeetna in about 8 to 10 hours allowing for liberal stopping along the way? We disembark in Seward, plan to spend the night in Seward and drive to Talkeetna the next day, staying that night and doing the flight the next morning. Mapquest says:

Also, any recommendations on a hotel or B&B?

Yes, definately doable in your timeframe and would allow plenty of stops. Overall a little over 5 hours without much stopping.
