anneinca Posted June 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2007 Hi! My family (a total of 18) are sailing on the Dawn Princess from San Francisco in early September. We have three avid fisherman that would love to do so salmon fishing. I need the expertise of the CC members . . . which port would be the best for salmon fishing in mid-September - Ketchikan, Juneau or Sitka? We are in Sitka for 8 hrs - 10 am to 6 pm. Juneau for 15 hours - 8 am to 11 pm. Ketchikan for 9 hours - 10 am to 7 pm. Thank you in advance for your opinions. anne
