Coupon Books from TAs?

Hello, all...

 

A quick question... we just booked on the Majesty OTS for Labor Day, and our TA said that she'd mail us a coupon book w/about $150 in coupons in it as a little treat. Has anyone received one of these before? Any sense of what's in there? We don't do a lot of activities or go to the spa or casino, but would gladly accept drinks coupons... ;)

Never heard of them before. the only coupon books we receive are the ones that RCCL give to us. I wonder if your TA is talking about the shopping coupon book that the shopping person trys to sell to every one?

The books will have discounts off pictures, spas etc. I think they have a buy one get one drink coupon in it. They are not the shopping coupon books. In reality, you will end up buying or paying for something you might not have if you didn't have the coupon.

we used a couple of the coupons in the booklet we got from our ta- its not the greatest coupon book i have ever seen - i think our ta said rci sends some travel agencies these booklets to give to their clients during some promotions - they don't always have them to offer us-

My TA said there would be a coupon book waiting in our stateroom at the beginning of the cruise. It was part of a special promotion.

We have been offered a coupon book by our T/A as well. Since we get a book from RCL, and not find most of the coupons for us unusable, we try to get a different deal from a T/A such as OBC, dinner at the speciality restaurant etc.

Are these the very same booklets you get as C & A members (delivered to our cabins on our last cruise)??

I am looking at one of the coupon booklets right now. It is a promotional item that RCCL gives to Travel Agents for their clients...it has nothing to do with the Crown & Anchor Society. It is called "Your Passport to Savings" and includes these coupons:
