grand cayman

We are going to Grand Cayman in August. Nephew wants to dive. Needs a dive instructor since he has not done that before. Where is the best beach for this type of dive ?? Can you snorkel and dive at the same beach? I'd appreciate any help?

First, I'd like to suggest that next time you post you make the subject line more descriptive of the nature of your post.

 

Both http://www.edenrockdive.com/ and http://abanksdivers.com.ky/ are near the Eden Rock dive site which is a short walk from were the tenders usually dock in Georgetown.

 

 

You can also snorkel there for free is you have your own snorkel gear, or you can rent whatever you need from the above referenced dive shops.

 

http://www.sunsethouse.com is just a bit past Eden Rock and has an onsite dive shop. You can go there if Eden rock looks too crowded.
