Is There Shore Diving in GT???

Title about sums it up, is there shore diving in GT or do I need to book something through the ship?

 

I want to do a 2 tank dive.

I think you can shore dive in Grand Turk, but even if you can't/don't it doesn't mean you have to go with the ship's cattle boat excursion.

 

I recommend contacting Blue Water Divers and arranging a two tank dive with them.

 

If you do decide to go thru the trip, they use Oasis divers who has a special large pontoon boat they use for the ship's dive excursions. They take up to 24 divers with 3 DM's.

 

Just about all the shore dives are fairly close to shore so you could make the surface swim out to them, but I don't know where to send you to rent tanks/weights or which sites are suitable to shore diving.

Bohio's website says you can dive from the shore there. Has anybody tried it?
