Bayonne Pier to Newark Airport

We will be arriving at the Bayonne Pier on a Sunday after a nine day cruise on the Explorer of the Seas. Arrival time is scheduled at 7:00 a.m. RCCI recommends an airport departure time after 12:30. Our flight was scheduled for 12:45 but has been moved up to 12:10. Will we be able to make this flight or should we call the airline to let them know the earlier time is a problem. The next flight out leaves at 3:30.

If we decide to take the 12:10 flight, which will be quicker, taking a taxi to EWR or transferring on RCCI transportation?

Thanks for your help!

I know if you have an early flight on Carnival, they try to ensure you an early debarkation.

Honestly, I would play it safe and take the later flight. Don't forget, you also have to get through security (and the lines at Newark are TERRIBLE... trust me!!)

Getting from the peir to Newark should take you roughly the same time whether you take a taxi or RC transportation.
