What is the difference in a BA and BB category?

Hi,

I've never been clear on this. Currently we're booked on the Pearl 9th deck BB cat. balcony. Just for grins I was checking online discounters and the BA category was slightly higher than the BB. Just curious why.

Incidentally, we booked thru an online TA and there was very little difference in the price we paid vs. the discounter.

Thanks for your help!

They're identical in size, amenities, etc., but the BAs will be in what's believed to be a slightly more desirable location (midship, higher decks, etc).

If you like, you can visit ncl.com and look at their deck plans to see what I mean.
