mikelan6 Posted June 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2007 My partner and I are scheduled to arrive into Southampton on the QM2 on October 25th. We plan to go to Disneyland Paris that same day. We're thinking of taking the train from Southampton to London, then the Eurostar to Lille, then the TGV to Marne La Vallee (Disneyland Paris). Can anyone give any recommendations of any better/faster/easier route? Any better time when to reserve and purchase this? Are these trains usually on time or should we get changeable tickets in case anything is late? Also, how soon would we be able to disembark the QM2 and get to the Southampton train station to have plenty of time to get to the train? We don't mind carrying our luggage ourselves. Thanks! jgsmuzzy Posted June 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2007 Sounds like a plan. I thought that the Eurostar goes to Disney itself?
mikelan6 Posted June 18, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted June 18, 2007 I thought that the Eurostar goes to Disney itself? Eurostar does have one direct train from London to Disneyland, but it departs only at 9:37 AM, we won't make it. We have to either go through Paris (Gare du Nord) or via Lille, which I believe is easier.
