Balcony ... Alaska

I know a balcony is a great thing to have in Alaska especially. The cost above a window for a RCCL 2008 sailing is about $700. We are going the last week of May - Southbound.

Do you think based on weather that it is worth it? I am just concerned that we will have poor weather and be unable to enjoy.

No way to predict the weather, but it is well worth it! We had rain/drizzle most every day on our cruise, but it did not keep me inside! I spent most of my time on the balcony soaking up the beauty of Alaska!
