cruisinjudy Posted April 27, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 27, 2004 I also wonder about muddy shoes! I had that problem in Hawaii, and I put them on the verandah, but then how do you get them clean? In Alaska we don't have a verandah, we had to switch cruises and they were all gone. So what about those muddy shoes? Or am I the only one who travels "off road?" Change just before you get on wrapping your muddy shoes in the bag so you dont mess up the carpet on the ship. When you get back to your room, you wash the shoes off in the shower/sink and hang them up to dry by their shoestrings or lay them on the shower floor to dry. OR just keep them in the bag until the next day and put them on dirty when you get off the ship.
