luggage tag color?

Hi Cunarders. I got us upgraded to an A2 cabin...but after my documents had been sent. Anyway, it only took me about 5 minutes to replicate my own, but I'm wondering about the colored stripe around the tag. I made it black to be generic, but now I'm wondering if there are any black luggage tags.

 

We are deck 11, port-aft if that helps. Thank you in advance for any help.

In my recent experience (last summer) on QM2 ... I didn't know I'd been upgraded until I checked in at Southampton. Even though my baggage had the original tags, it was waiting in my (upgraded) cabin when I got there, only about 30 minutes after I'd dropped it off in "the shed."

 

They really do have this sorted out ... Have a great trip!

Leave the ones you have on your bags, and trust to the system.

 

It will work. Making your own would more than likely not confuse - after all you will not be able to replicate the bar code.

so, the barcode is the key, eh? I've never seen luggage tags with barcodes before. Maybe I'll just take a marker and update the stateroom number on the original luggage tag.
