Fireworks

Disney Cruise Line is allowed to shoot off fireworks one night on the ship for what they call pirate night as part of a show.

 

As far as I know no other cruise line does this probably because they don't want to go through the hassle.

I do not blame them wanting to take that chance. I would not want to be on a ship with that also! I may be nervous!!!!!

I've sailed Disney 4 times and they shoot the fireworks over the ocean, so there's no big danger. They aren't the big giant fireworks that you'd see in the parks, more like your local carnival fireworks, so it's probably safe in case of accident. I don't think there's a risk of blowing up the ship with a little pop like that!
