One last hurrah ?

What do you think are the chances of Canival allowing QE2 one last fast crossing of the atlantic. Way back in 1989 the weather conditions were excellent - so good in fact that the captain said we could break QE2 record for crossing the atlantic.

 

However the owners as they were then would not let him run all nine engines at once. He had to keep one back in reserve. Now do you think that if the conditions are right they might let them run all engines at once. After all they wont be needed for much longer .

 

Or maybe if I slip the captain $10 he might do it anyway and beat the QM2 by a day :eek:
