2% Casino Cash Advance Fees?

I want to take a cash advance of $400 to charge to

my room to get casino chips.

Is the charge to my room $408?

 

Is there a new policy of 2% fee for this? I was on Celebrity 2 years ago and there was no fee then. I got $400 which was charged to my room. I later paid by the credit card company $400, that's it.

You will be charged 3%, or $412. You can send yourself casino credits through the order form on the Princess web site and avoid the service fee.

The service fee is not new on Princess, it has been 3% for as far back as I can remember. I definitely agree on the suggestion to send yourself casino credits through the gift section, it saves that fee.
