Caribbean Princess - Dolphin Deck Question

Are all the balconies on the Dolphin deck uncovered? Our travel agent told us that the AC mini suites on the Dolphin deck have covered private balconies (namely room D705) but I've heard that most of the balconies on this deck are not covered.

We were in a mini suite on Dolphin deck in April - our cabin was aft and was totally uncovered. I believe all Dolphin balconies are not covered.

We were in D501 - all mini suites on Dolphin are uncovered. Loved the cabin BTW.

Did either of you find any problems with the uncovered balconies? I've heard stories of kids throwing stuff off higher balconies onto Dolphin deck balconies, etc. We love the idea of a mini suite but like the idea of at least partial privacy on the balcony.

I was sailing on the Caribbean Princess back on July 3, 2004 - we had minisuite D728 - completely uncovered - I loved the cabin and the balcony. Had NO problem with it being completely exposed - as a matter of fact - we just yelled to everyone above us - had a wonderful cruise and would do it all again. Have a great time........ NancyK :D

We were on the Dolphin Deck on July 10th and we met a lot of people out on our balcony!

We will be in cabin 610 on the Dolpin deck Carribean Princess. The life boats are directly below us. Are they an obstruction when looking down?
