Sue L Posted July 4, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2007 Are they true afts, actually along the back of the ship? If yes, grab it. The balconies are huge (10 x 14) with two lounge chairs, two regular chair and a small table. We had 9260 and it was fantastic!!
negc Posted July 4, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2007 size and location are the primary differences. An E cabin has a loveseat while a D will usually have a full size sofa in the sitting area. Aft cabins on Radiance class ships are farther from the nearest public elevators and stairways which are midships, so anyone with mobility problems might want to sacrifice a bit of cabin space to easier access to the elevators. My deck plan shows E1 staterooms forward on Deck 9 with D1 staterooms running from about a third of the way from the bow, all the way aft. Unless there is a significant price difference, I'd recommend a D cabin either on the hump or somewhere towards the middle of the ship.
