Going on our first cruise in Dec on Carnival's Fantasy. Any suggestions on what to do on the ship and in the Bahamas?

My first cruise was on the Fantasy and it got me hooked! We loved the Dolphin encounter at Blue Lagoon really nice place. You will have so much fun but the time will go by too quick.

Do a search for the review that I posted about a month ago. We did the Pirates of the Bahamas Beach Party in Freeport and the Pearl Island Snorkel and Treasure Hunt in Nassau. Pearl Island is absolutely the best and the scenery on the boat ride is gorgeous. The particular tour we took included lunch and drinks.

We too, are sailing in December and are 1st time cruisers. When are you sailing? We leave December 2 from Port Canaveral.:D

I have enjoyed reading your posts. You have been very helpful in providing advice and information. I have a couple of questions for you: 1.) You mentioned in one of your posts that you have a price list for the Nassau excursions. I can't seem to find the post. 2)We will be cruising with our 3 (12, 8, and 6) children. I have heard that the Treasure Hunt age limit is 8. What would you recommend for children our ages? Also, is it better to book the excursions with Carnival, or on our own.

If you go to carnival's website they give a description of the tours and the age requirements. I can't locate the paper right now. We had a lot of fun on the Treasure Hunt trip. The place was gorgeous.
