winter cruise out of port liberty

:confused: i am trying to find information regarding winter weather out of bayone nj.what is it like to travel in feb we are going in feb 09 on explorer. i know some cruise lines that to this but i cant find anything out.any info would be appreciated. thanks. abbypa:)

there was a great thread not too long ago with awesome pictures of a HAL ship sailing from NYC in the winter, i believe during a snow storm a few years back. I tried to find it, but failed.. maybe somebody else will?

 

personally, I'd love to sail in the snow! as long as I get to the ship on time, i don't care what's going on. In that same thread, I remember reading that all the snow melted on day 2 at sea because the ship reached warmer waters.

You'd be fine cruising out in Feb but I highly doubt you would be spending anytime at the pool for the first day or two. :eek:
