photodoodle Posted August 29, 2007 #30 Share Posted August 29, 2007 I love shooting digital and don't expect to use film again, at least not in 35mm format. I dabbled lightly in photography until digital. When I got my first p&s digitial in 2000, a Canon G1, I started to improve greatly as a photographer. Of course I still have a long way to go, but, my learning curve has been much faster with digital. The instant feedback and the freedom from worrying about how much I was spending on film and development made a huge difference. Plus the changeable ISO is fantastic. I've had several Canon cameras since then; I now have a dSLR. Each time I upgraded I found that I was not 'worthy' of the camera. I kept shooting and learning until the camera was a limitation, as opposed to just me. It's been great fun.
