Money in port???

:confused: Can anyone tell me if they take US currency at the port shops or do I need to get it changed to their currebcy. If so, what is it? I don't have a clue. Thanks

Yes they do take American $$ but make sure to have small bills. They will always tell you that they don't have change :rolleyes:

1 US Dollar is around 19 Honduran Lempiras

 

 

If you pay in Dollars, your change will be in Lempiras. Many places charge huge credit card fees, if they even take credit cards.
