buttrfly78 Posted July 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2007 before I cruised last time on the Majesty, I read on this board about showering in the Spa because there is more space. Has anyone tried this on the Mariner? TIA:)
digital_curator Posted July 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2007 We haven't been on the Mariner but did this on our last cruise on the Explorer. It's great- there is a locker room, about 4 showers, and both a sauna and a steam room. The showers are a good size and have shampoo and shower gel. There are stacks of clean towels too! Be careful though- my husband got a lock from the spa staff and left his seapass card in exchange. When he returned the key, they didn't have his card:eek: Turns out, they had given it to someone else. The Steiner girl wasn't very apologetic either! Luckilly, no one had used the card but we had to go get a new one made at the Purser's desk.... DC, Thanks for the heads up about the lock/Seapass card. Perhaps one could use a luggage lock in the future? I will have to investigate this next month on the Mariner..... :) Leslie
buttrfly78 Posted July 20, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted July 20, 2007 Thanks alot! I just thought showering there was more convenient last time. I would go to the spa and my boyfriend could have the room to himself to get ready. :)
digital_curator Posted July 24, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2007 We still used the area after the incident, we just didn't use a lock! We took one seapass card and it came in the shower with me:D I didn't think anyone would be interested in my clothes so I just left them on a bench. Usually I was the only one there.
