Souvenir pins?

I was wondering how many souvenir pins from my state I should buy and bring up to Alaska for the tour guides. We will be in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Sitka

Sitka is the only place I have seen them. The guides wear them on their jackets. Even if you aren't on a tour- you will see them at the many attractions and at the tender dock.

I have a related question. When my Mom traveled a few years back on HAL (98, I think). At each port, she received a pin for the city they were visiting as well on on for Alaska. Does HAL still give these pins to the passengers?

I never got any??? There used to be coupon books that had free "moose on the loose" pins with each port's name on them. I have the whole collection- but I think it was from my 1999 or 2000 trips???
