Q re: transport $ from NCL- airport/ship & ship/airport?

I didn't know until I started reading here that transporting from airport to ship and ship to cruise was an option. I guess it's hidden cost you don't see unless you know about them.

 

Does anyone know how much is the actual cost? Can we pay for airport to ship only and not pay for ship to airport?

 

I was thinking if this is the case, because we are taking shore excursion by NCL, excursion will take us to airport anyway. If that's the case, we shouldn't be paying for the ship to airport transport right?

 

Did anyone just pay one way with NCL?
