Here's the rest:

 

Our best whale watching was around Icy Strait where we saw many, many whales. At one point, they seemed to be everywhere! I just stood there watching with and without binoculars and didn’t bother with the camera anymore.

 

Roxilla, great report. Thank you. A quick question, what size of your binoculars do you use? I just bought a 10x binoculars, but I saw someone mentioned 16x binoculars. I am wondering whether my 10x will be sufficient. How far do you have to stay away from whale when watching them?
