Storing Luggage at FCO?

Does anyone know if you can still do it? On our land trip next month, we're dropping off the car at FCO and then heading back into Rome for a day before heading back to FCO the next morning to fly home. It would be great to dump the luggage and just take the train and an overnight bag back into town rather than having to take a cab with the luggage. Tx
