Prescription Medicines

Hey all! :) This will be my first time going to Roatan. I've been to other cruise spots such as Cozumel and Barbados, but decided to do Central America this time because I've heard it's not as touristy as other cruise destinations.

 

In any case, I was wondering if anyone could help me out and tell me if and where I can buy prescription meds on the island. I've bought a few things in Mexico before, but it's always nice to hear firsthand from someone who's visited before.

 

Any help and/or suggestions are welcome!

i am an expat. i've been living in roatan for close to two years now. i frequently have people from the states visit, and i always take them to the pharmacy in coxen hole in the main street mall close to where the cruiseliners dock.

 

they have great discounts, they speak english, are really friendly, and sell genuine meds. maybe you should give them a try!

Roatan Expat,

 

Do you have the email address of the Pharmacy outside of Coxen Hole? I purchased a cream there and Cendy B gave me her email but never responds. We are coming into Mahogany bay and wondered if you knew of the emails for the Pharmacies there? Looking to buy Retin A cream in a tube strength .1% and how large is the tube and the cost. Thank you!
