Inlet Tower Hotel in Anchorage - any opinions?

Greetings! After unsucessfully trying priceline for Anchorage hotels for July 12, I called Inlet Tower and booked a room with a king size bed for $129. They have a free shuttle that would pick us up from the train station (we are arriving from Whittier that night) and then a free airport shuttle. The hotel is on 13th street, which makes it not terribly central but we are only there for one night and one day and I couldn't justify an extra $100 for Captain Cook. Did anyone stay at Inlet Tower or are familiar with it? I would appreciate any opinions as I can cancel my booking with them and look elsewhere. Is Captain Cook worth extra $100?
