Port to El Morro...time for sightseeing?

Sailing out on AOS for an 8:30 pm departure....does anyone know the distance between the port and El Morro? I figure we could go check in and drop off the bags at the port sometime in the early afternoon and then take a taxi to El Morro. Approximately how much would this be by taxi? How much time should we allow to sightsee there?

 

One more question--what is the distance from the airport to the port?

I don't know the distance from the Old Town port to El Morro but we walked it in 30-40 minutes leisurely. That didn't include the Ben and Jerrys stop. Doing a moderately comprehensive tour of the fort took an hour. Maybe some help:) :D :) :D

If you are in the down town port you can walk to el morro. If you are in the other port you will need a cab to get you into town.

 

from airport to port is 20-30 minutes depending on traffic..

Take a taxi to El Morro, it's uphill. Walk back.
