Apartment In Barcelona

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever rented an apartment in Barcelona before or after a cruise? We are a group of 10, looking for a 5 bedroom apartment for 2 nights. We have found one option, but are not sure of the area? Anyone familiar with the areas we should avoid staying in?

Thanks for your help.

Donna,

We rented a furnished apartment in Barcelona for 3 nights after our Millennium cruise last month. We booked it thru http://www.friendlyapartments.com which has a very large inventory of apartments in Barcelona in different locations and sizes. However many of the apartments require a 3 night minimum stay. Also there only a few apartments that will have 5 bedrooms.

Because there was a demand from the family that we book the apartment as close to the beach as possible, our apartment was 30 seconds away from the beach in Barceloneta. The street access to our apartment was pretty safe although not picturesque.

You may want to consult with BCNLady on her running Barcelona thread in this forum for more information on the suitability/security of the area that your apartment is in.
