Renting speed boat or day sail

Has anyone rented a speed boat? Who did you use and how do you contact them? Cost? Danger level?

 

Four us will be in St. Thomas on 11/23. Have been trying to arrange a day sail but no luck so far. Rumbaba not available. Please advise any other day sail operators and how to contact.

 

Also, can you do the Screamin Eagle without booking thru ship.

 

Another option: On deck Ocean Race - any opinions on this. Do you HAVE TO book thru ship?

We used them in July, they have private charter sail and power boats, and a larger day sail by the person.

We went sailing with Island Girl earlier this year when we were on Adventure of the Seas. It was a half day sail and snorkel, and they also had sea scooters that pulled us along while we were snorkeling. It was something different and we had a lot of fun.
