Sitka -- 4X4 Wilderness Tour

Hi,

 

Has anyone been on the 4X4 Wilderness Tour in Sitka? (It's listed in HAL's excursion brochure.) I would love to hear any feedback. :)

Two couples on our Amsterdam cruise last month went on it, and raved about how good it was. They saw a LOT of wildlife.

We are back and had the time of our life. This was our first cruise and we absolutely had a blast. The 4 x 4 adventure in Sitak is a MUST. We had so much fun. You take a small boat out to an island and then you go 4 x 4 ering for 2 hours. Saw eagles, salmon, deer, no bears, but a deer that had just been killed by a bear. Way worth the money. Make sure you get a chance to drive. Best pay back to your husband every..... Aloha Cindy:D

Thanks for the update. I'm so excited to hear that the ATVs were fun. It sounds like a blast, and now it's on my list for sure. Can't wait to drive. :D

 

Was this the only excursion you did in Sitka? And while I'm at it -- since you sound like the adventurous type -- did you go to Juneau and Ketchikan? If so, what did you do there?
