Getting to trunk bay from Charlotte amalie

Would you reccomend taking the ferry from CA or the ferry from RedHook? Is there any difference besides the price and the departure times?

We've done it both ways. I would recommend a taxi to Red Hook if your in a hurry. If the CA ferry fits into your schedule, it's a nice scenic ferry ride. You'll probably want a taxi between CA and the cruise pier at either Heavensight or Crown Bay, so the CA ferry wil probably end up costing more in the end, and take longer.

The ferry from Red Hook runs more frequently. I took the public bus from Havensight for $2 pp each way. Super easy.
