Group Dinning Room Seating

We are coordinating a Group Cruise and want to know the best way to arrange for dining room seating to get everyone as close as possible with the largest tables. We have some cabins in our group cruise and others that have booked through their own arrangements. We have 35 so far and will be travelling on the Carnival Libery in March. Can we contact the Maitre'd directly or hope that the group cruise vacation planner arrange this for us?

We had this same situation last year on the Pride, and we linked all the reservations as the above person suggested. Everyone booked in the group ended up together. Everyone else ended up scattered all over the dining room. The only way they could accommodate us after boarding the ship was to move us to early dining, which none of us wanted, so we lived with it.

From that experience, I would strongly suggest that you link the reservations, speak to the group coordinator, and email the maitre 'd.

We had a group of 25 last April. We booked as a group. The most important thing is to have your reservations linked together. The group leader should be selecting the dining time. We had 3 large tables for our group. Two were with one waiter and one with another. Some nights we switched up for dinner, but the waiters knew we were all together and it was not a problem.

Biggest thing learned as the "leader"....don't stress out. Dinner arrangements went great for us, but as far as meeting at a certain location to go ashore or whatever was a pain trying to organize. Just go and have fun!
