Just back from Freedom

Was on 8/17 to 8/29 sailing. This was my first time on Carnival and my family ( wife and 15 yo girl and 14 yo boy) had a fantastic time. We have previously sailed on RCCL, NCL, Disney and Princess. I was always reluctant to sail on Carnival because I always thought they were a low end cruise line. I am happy to say how wrong I was as the food and service were far better than any other line we sailed. The ships decor is a little strange, looks like 70's decor, but who cares. The cabins were nice and spacious with very nice sized showers. The only problem we had was our cabins on the Verandah deck, 8420 and 8422. We consantly heard chairs scraping from the Lido deck above. We were under the Aft pool pizza area. I would not recommend this deck. Otherwise we had a great time.

Glad to hear that you had such a great time. :) Next time go on a deck that is sandwich in between other decks and it won't be noisy. :p
