Fireball lands in NJ Atlantic waters

Did anyone see this? We were on the Dawn's 9/1 one nighter and missed it. Apparently, a fireball landed in the Atlantic off the NJ shore. Seems odd that it was around the same area (Normandy Beach) that's reporting medical waste washing up on shore. Just wondering if anyone had been on deck and saw it. Could have been quite the shooting star!

It was a meteor shower seen from Nova Scotia to North Carolina.
