Were sailing on the Grand Princess in November...what is the latest you are allowed to stay on the ship before disembarking?

Thanks for your help:p

I believe you can stay up to around 11am/12pm as they will soon start allowing the new passengers to board the ship. For a better answer, ask your cabin steward. He will tell you how long you can stay in the room since he (or she) is the room that needs that room empty to do a turn around service for the new guests.

....keep in mind.......(unless you are hauling your luggage off yourself).......if the Grand disembarked your luggage.....it will be waiting for you on the dock....wondering where you are.....:)

They want you off as soon a possible. They need to turn the ship around for all those folks lining up at 11am who want to get into your cabin. That is why it is 10ish as others have noted.

So do not plan on lolling around if that is what you were thinking. ;)

We did a b2b once where we changed ships between the two weeks. We stayed on the first ship (Caribbean Princess) as long as we could, and around 10 AM it was feeling very empty. About that time they started making calls saying that anyone left on board needed to disembark. I think we left the ship around 10:15.

So that should have worked out...... being the last off the first leg (ship), getting over to the next port terminal, and be one of the first on the second leg (ship). Breakfast on the old ship and lunch on the new ship. ;) Is that how it worked out.

Lemme' see now (whips out little calculator) 7 day cruise x 24 hours per day equals 168 hours. If you were on the ship at 1 PM the prior Sunday (or Saturday or any of the 5 other days) would not being kicked off at 10 AM be cheating you out of 3 hours or just short of 1.8% of what you paid for? Just a random thought
