Religious services on board

Has anyone participated in religious services on board the 'Journey' so far, i.e. Jewish Friday night service. I have previously experienced this on Celebrity/RCCL and others where a member of the staff crew or passenger led the service and the cruise line provided the necessary prayer books, etc.

In the meantime, I will try to obtain information from Azamara re the 'Quest' regarding this.

I just got off the Journey from the Sep 8 cruise. There was a rabbi on board and Yom Kippur services were listed in the daily scoop sheet. I don't know whether there is a rabbi for non-holiday times.

There was also a wonderful priest aboard - working under the Apostolate of the Seas. This is a guarantee that the priest is "for real" and not defrocked or otherwise out of favor with the church. Father James was a priest of Adelaide, South Australia and he was a humble man, good preacher, and source of inspiration during daily Mass.

Father James also conducted a non-denominational Christian service on Sunday.
