any time dining

We` are booked on the Zuiderdam next July and had to book anytime dining as felt the other times available (after 8) were too late. Has anyone had the experience that you had to wait to get a table?

There's two sticky's about AYW dining. You might be interested in reading the shorter one---it's about how it works in real life.

There haven't been too many reports yet, as it only just started on the one ship. There will be more reports trickling in as more cruises under that system are completed.

I am one of the few here who tried AYWD. There were no waits. I can also see that HAL has disallowed reserveing tables during prime dining time to level the playing field. I think this is a substantial improvement over how Princess implemented the concept a few years ago, whereby those in the know, hogged all the best times.

Thanks, that is exactly my concern that trying to get a table between 6:45-7:15 will turn out to be long wait. We would prefer to be at one table for the entire cruise, hopefully the waitlist will open up!
