Snorkeling in the Canaries?

We'll be Lanzarote and La Palma the first part of December. It seems that Lanzarote, at least, is well known for clear waters and diving. Has anyone snorkeled in the Canaries? In December? I searched through the forums, but I didn't see anything.

 

Any assistance appreciated.
