Taxi at the airport?

We are planning to take a taxi from the airport to Pan American pier. Are taxis readily available or should we try to reserve a limo?

We were there several years ago, and there was a taxi stand where you just got in line of the next available taxi. Easy. I think it was $8. then, but that was awhile back.

A taxi ride from airport to pan Am dock is now listed at $16 plus .50/bag. That is $16 for the whole taxi not per person.
