Anyone been on the Jetboat Excursion in Acupulco?

Just would like to know how the Jet boat excursion in Aculpulco was....Was is worth the money? I am considering taking my family in Feb 2008.

We did this tour last year. We booked it privately and saved about 1/2 the cost of carnival. While I did think it was fun, it was not this intense experience I was expecting. Also the river SMELLS they go to great length telling you how it is the nitrogen being released from the plants that grow in the water but regardless, it really smells like surfer. I was not too worried until after the tour and I noticed out boat driver who was wearing a long sleeve wet suit quickly get out of the boat and wash his hands like he was a surgeon. He was scrubbing and scrubbing. Needless to say we had been splashed quite a bit so I followed suit and did a full rinse off. Also several members of our group said that if the ride has lasted much longer they would have lost their lunch due to the smell. So be aware.
