WeatherGeek Posted October 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2007 Can anyone recommend a good Brazilian Steakhouse in Tampa? Preferably downtown or Ybor City where we can easily get to using the tram (not sure what the train system is called?) seeing as how we will not have a rental car. Thanks! :D
SeaPA1 Posted October 17, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2007 Offhand I'm not aware of any in either Ybor or the immediate downtown area. There is one by International Plaza, which is close to downtown but you'd need to take a cab. It's called Boizao (I think that's the right spelling). I haven't been but have heard good things. There are a couple of excellent steakhouses in the immediate area, but neither are Brazillian style - just regular steakplaces. Gallaghers (in the Channelside complex) is fantastic, and Malio's (in the "beer can" building) is also top-notch.
ahoys Posted October 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2007 You won't find a Brazilian restaurant near Ybor or Channelside. However, you should try the best restaurant in Ybor City--The Columbia. Not Brazilian cuisine, but it's great Spanish/Cuban food. Channelside has a good tapas restaurant. The two good Brazilian restaurants are Boizaio, mentioned by the previous poster, and Fuego, which is in Brandon. It's a bit of a cab ride for those two.
