Spikesgirl Posted November 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2007 Yes, go to Ports of Call and look under Alaska. There is so much info there that you will be amazed. Before you post again, narrow down your search requirements a little to get the most bang for your buck. You've obviously chosen a line, have you chosen a time limit? Do you have an specific requiements? Ports that you'd like to see? Are you interested in doing a land tour as well? Have you decided upon a time (prime is July-August)? You might want to pay a visit to a TA and get some cataloges from the line you're interested in so that you can see what options are open to you. Also check out that cruise lines web site as you'll be able to find more info about the various excursions offered at each port - then you can come back here and ask sepcific questions of posters. The more specific the questions, the more likely you'll get the info you want. Cheers! Charlie
Guest maler Posted November 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2007 One thing to keep in mind is that the average high temp during the summer months in Alaska is only 65. I am surprised to see so many are shocked because they didn't expect it to be so cold! It can get warmer but 65 is the average high. Wear layers.
