I booked the Destiny for April in large part for the Dominican Republic. Now it has been replaced with St Lucia and Antigua.

Was this due to storm damage in the Dominican Republic?

theres nothing to do with storm damage

Greetings Travel Partners

Please be advise of the following updates:

Operational Change: Carnival Destiny / Carnival Victory

Due to operational considerations regarding the escalating cost of fuel, we will have to change the announced itinerary commencing on the

Carnival Destiny from San Juan on 3/02/08.

The newly announced itinerary featuring an overnight call to Casa De Campo/La Romana and St. Kitts has been changed.

We will now add St. Lucia, Antigua and St. Kitts in lieu of just the previously mentioned two ports - - giving us a unique 6-port itinerary from San Juan.

The Carnival Destiny (and starting in November 2008, the Carnival Victory), the ships will visit St. Thomas on Monday (7am-5pm); Dominica on Tuesday (10am-6pm); Barbados on Wednesday (8am-5pm); St. Lucia on Thursday (8am-5pm); Antigua on Friday (8am-6pm) and St. Kitts on Saturday (7am-4pm). Departures: 3/02/08; 3/16/08; 3/23/08 and 3/30/08: The Destiny will visit Antigua on Thursday (10am-6pm); St. Kitts on Friday (8am-6pm) and St. Maarten on Saturday (7am-5pm).

Travel agents and direct consumers with affected bookings were faxed on 11/01/07. The itineraries were updated in our system on 11/02/07.

Operational Changes: Carnival Spirit Hawaii 2008/2009

In order to enhance our guests experience, we have made the following itinerary changes.

Travel agents and guests with affected bookings were faxed on 11/05/07.

* Carnival Spirit 4/20/08: We will replace the 2nd day stay in Kahalui, Maui (and overnight) with a call in Lahaina, Maui.

* Carnival Spirit 9/24/08: We have added a call to Lahaina, Maui instead of Cruising the Na Pali Coast, and reversed our

calls to Hilo and Kona.

* Carnival Spirit 10/06/08: We will offer a full day and overnight in Kahalui.

* Carnival Spirit 9/12/09: We will change the sequence of ports.

* Carnival Spirit 9/24/09: We will offer a call in Lahaina, Maui instead of an overnight in Kahalui, Maui and change the sequence of ports.

Converted Staterooms on the Carnival Victory

Update (11/06/07): These cabins have not been converted to the new "8F" category in the reservations system yet.

Effective Sunday, 11/04/07, the 14 Category 6E "Family Staterooms with Quad Occupancy" featuring floor-to-ceiling windows have been converted during dry-dock to Category 8F Private Balcony staterooms. This will be reflected in the 2008-2009 Fleet Brochure which will be available at the end of November.

Thanks for your continued support.

Make it a great day!

they implement the $70.00 fuel charge and still they change La Romana thats why many people here its canceling now you are paying more and they change the itinerary...i dont understand!
