How sad, and how scary would that have been.

 

Makes me think twice about a cruise to the Antarctic. We had been discussing it.

 

As someone on the Princess board said "Better to go to the bottom than end up on a beach in India as scrapmetal.

 

Wonder if they get a refund :(

yeah that is a hell of a thing to happen on the cruise of a lifetime, it is the sort of thing you could just never imagine would happen in this day and age, and in what looked like fairly calm weather. Just goes to show that you should take the safety talks serious.
