Does anyone know where Carnival Valor docks in St Thomas? Is it the one right next to Paradise Point? Thanks in advance. :)

Yes, Charlotte Amolie I think it's called, you can walk to the ride to the top. You can also shop there at Havensight. Lots of kodak moments up top.

You will be docking at the West Indian Co. cruise ship dock.

It's a pretty brisk walk to the skyride, but very doable unless someone in the party has health problems. We went up there at night when we got back from St. John and it is spectacular (both the view + Bailey's Bushwhackers).

You will be docked at Havensight a short cab ride to Charlotte Amalie. Charlotte Amalie is not what it used to be. As a matter of fact, many people avoid this area since it is not doing so well since Havensight is so heavily shopped. You will be a 15-20 minute cab ride to some of the beautiful beaches of St. Thomas, Sapphire, Coki, Maegens Bay. Check out the destinations area of Cruise Critic for excellent suggestions.:cool:

BTW, the ship's price is actually a buck or two less than what you pay at the tram, and if you don't use it, they'll refund you money. You can also print out drink discount tickets online.

Regarding the tram....when we were there the week before Christmas in 2005, the cheapest price was actually at the tram itself IF you have a AAA card. (I keep finding more places that give AAA members discounts...:D .)

We just sailed on the Valor 2 weeks ago. We were docked in Havensight.

As people have said, it's in Havensite. We stayed up on the hill and our balcony overlooked the port. It's not that far from the tram.
