Thanks for some great shots! Those gas lines remind me of the gas rationing of the mid 70's.. Not fun! We lived through HUGO in the Carolina's and it was a disaster. You learn to appreciate the small comforts in life like WATER, ICE, hot showers, lights etc. If you owned a chain saw back then you were the most sought after person in town! Hope you all dodge the Ivan bullet down there!

There are two really hot tickets in Florida at the moment

1. ICE

2. FUEL (gasoline)

We are lucky. Nobody was hurt. My power is back on. My parents are still without power. I made a run over there today with all the ice in my freezer plus irradiated milk. Even if it gets warm, they will be able to use it.

I only hope that Florida is finished with storms for the season. I think we have had our share.
