Cabin noise on Sea Princess (same as Sun & Dawn)

We have book to go on the Sea Priness next year and have been given cabin number E342 (outside quad cabin on the Emerald deck). We are just a little bit worried that it might be noisy as the wrap around Prominade deck is directly above us and hope that we wont here people's shoes clunking above our heads at all hours!

 

Does anyone have experience of staying in such a cabin? And can they reassure us?

We were on the Sea Princess a few years ago with an outside quad on Emerald. EVERY morning starting around 6am we would wake up to the thump, thump, thump of runners going by overhead. I could usually roll over and go back to sleep, but it was not a nice way to wake up! Now, that is one of the first questions I ask when booking a cabin. What is below and above me. We have had the casino above us and didn't have as much noise as the runners.

 

In my own opinion, try to get a different cabin if possible. With quads, it's hard, but try!
